name one person who pretends to like appleseed cast. this is about the same viewpoint as that person who said people buy jazz albums to be obscure, its not about what the label of the music is, its wether you like it or not. i realy dont understand the point of these particular posts.

I don't think it's that they pretend to like it, I think it's the fact that they like it for the image liking such things portrays. I don't reckon half those people who are into emo and/or H/C are for real. Granted, some are. Take Stand for example. I reckon they've been doing what they do for long enough now to be taken seriously. A lot of them, especially some of the girls in the 'scene' come across as total social-climbers. Which is probably exactly what they are. So I just negated my own point. Shit. [img]redface.gif[/img]

Anyway, the fact remains thus:

Dave H - i reckon you got it 100% right. the bit on girls is a bit of a stereotype though, be fair.

Its all down to whether or not people actually go home, slap on some and listen to it. sounds stupidly simple, but that's all that apprieciating "our kind of music" needs.

I'm gonna shut up now because i'm basically telling people what they should do and in turn becoming a wanker. again, sorry.
